If you become a client, we may also hold information relevant to delivering the work you've engaged us for — for example, details about the workflows or systems we're building a tool for. We don't collect any other personal data through this site, and we don't use tracking or profiling of any kind.
Our lawful basis for using it
We rely on two lawful bases under UK GDPR: legitimate interests, to respond to enquiries you send us and keep a record of that conversation, and contract, where we hold information because it's necessary to deliver work you've asked us to do. Where neither applies, we'll ask for your consent before processing your data.
Our role as a data controller
For enquiry and client data collected through this site, we act as the data controller — we decide what's collected and why, and we're responsible for handling it lawfully, fairly, and transparently, in line with this policy.
Our role as a data processor
Where a client engagement involves us handling data on your behalf — for example, documents or records processed as part of a fixed-scope build — we act as a data processor for that data, following your instructions rather than our own. The specific terms for this are agreed separately as part of the engagement, not by this website policy.
Where it's processed
Contact form submissions are handled by our website hosting provider's form-processing service, which stores submissions securely so we can read and respond to them. We don't use any other third-party service to process personal data collected through this site.
Keeping your information safe
We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect the personal data we hold — including relying on our hosting provider's security infrastructure for form submissions, and limiting access to enquiry and client data to the people who need it to do their jobs. No system is completely risk-free, but we don't take shortcuts with how your data is stored or shared.
Keeping your information up to date
We rely on you to let us know if any information you've given us changes or is inaccurate — for example, a new email address. If you spot something incorrect in what we hold, contact us and we'll correct it.
How long we keep it
